For 38 years I have been a practicing attorney in Buffalo, New York. I have personally tried hundreds of cases, both jury and non-jury, during my legal career.
In 1978 I graduated from the University at Buffalo School of Law. I went on to serve as an assistant District Attorney in Erie County for 10 years. After that, I became an assistant United States Attorney (WDNY) and was promoted to Chief of the Civil Division. As the Civil Division Chief, I oversaw the handling of hundreds of civil cases including those involving personal injury and wrongful death on behalf of the United States government and its agencies and employees.
After leaving the United States Attorney’s Office, I was appointed by Governor George Pataki to be an Erie County Court Judge.
In 1995 I became a partner at PERLA & PERLA, LLP where I joined my dad, Sam Perla, and three brothers, Greg, Jeff and Keith in the private practice of law.
In 2016, I started my own law practice, the Law Office of Mark S. Perla, and I have had tremendous success helping people like you to get all the money they deserve. I have devoted my entire practice of law to helping injured clients and those wronged by the negligence of others.
My Case History
While I have had tremendous success and substantial recoveries in cases involving serious, life-threatening injuries, I have also recovered many millions of dollars on behalf of clients with less serious, even seemingly minor injuries such as
disc injuries not resulting in surgery
aggravation of a previous injury or condition
bone fractures
concussions
rotator cuff tears
soft tissue injuries
headaches
scarring and bruising
emotional trauma
shoulder pain
back and neck pain
ligament and tendon injuries
other nagging injuries that don’t seem to heal
